DC Gear Motor

Summary:

The wheelchair market in our country is divided into traditional manual wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs. Electric wheelchairs have the advantages of convenient use, better safety, and are much more expensive than manual wheelchairs. With high gross profit margins, they are considered upgraded products for enterprises. Therefore, electric wheelchairs are rapidly replacing traditional manual wheelchairs. Electric wheelchairs are suitable for people with high paraplegia or hemiplegia but with one handed control ability. They have a one handed control device, can move forward, backward, and turn, can turn 360 degrees in place, and can be used indoors and outdoors. They are easy and convenient to operate.

Challenge:

The customer proposed a power range of 200W~450W and reduced the speed through a gearbox, resulting in a final output speed of around 0~110rpm/min. The national standard stipulates that the general indoor and outdoor driving speed is 6km/h. In order to prevent the wheelchair from running off track while walking in a straight line, the final output speed difference between the two motors is generally within 3 revolutions per minute. When shipping, the left and right motors need to be paired.

Solution:

Based on the requirements provided by the customer, our R&D engineers have made efforts to develop an arc-shaped bevel gear reduction motor. Compared with the current market's turbine worm motor, the overall efficiency of the machine has been significantly improved; 2. After optimizing the entire machine, the current is reduced and the range is increased; 3. The decrease in overall weight has a significant advantage over the current market demand for lightweight models.
